Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team Heading to a Pair of IRS Sanctioned Events This Weekend

VIENNA, WV (June 19, 2008)- Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team will travel to Elkins Motor Speedway in Kerens, WV for a $5,000 to win IRS  sanctioned event on Friday June 20th. Then on Saturday Steve and the team will travel to another IRS sanctioned event at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV for a 50-lap $5,000 to win feature event. Steve has one win on the IRS series this year and is looking to run good close to home this weekend.

"With fuel prices the way they are it just makes sense to stay close to home and run these IRS races this weekend. Hopefully we'll run good and get another win or two this weekend", stated Steve. Steve and the team will took this past weekend off from racing and enjoyed a weekend off before the schedule becomes real busy for the summer events.
